I think this whole era has been a little more chill on purpose, seeing as the previous 2 (3 if you count sappy) comebacks have been a little more on the wild side. I think it's also drawing on the fact that it's a late summer/early fall comeback so it's a little more mellow than, say, Zimzalabim, which had bright, colorful summer vibes. Idk why I'm ranting about this but yeah it's one of my favorite eras.

I very much believe that day 3/final will be velvet side! Zimzalabim was like velvet/red and umpah umpah was red, so next one will be velvet! Plus it's around halloween (I think) so velvet suits that a lot. (And I have a source that told me it's way more velvet than their latest comebacks) So looking forward to it ^^

i think it's "tame" (at least for you) because of their promotions. if you're not really following red velvet promotions wich are currently kinda "tame" the era will looks like it too. i feel like red velvet is not trying hard on promotions anymore they're just doing music and performances. *their albums, by contrast, is very prepared with a real musical theme for day1 and 2... like always concept queen.*
