I was playing right along with you and did exactly what you did and my cure percentage was at 75% when yours was at 23%. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. No matter what strategy I try the cure builds faster than my zombies.

THANK YOU!!!!! after seeing crap "turorials" that turn out to be semi guides, this finally helped me beat it! I literally followed step by step, had no problem with it, except one, why did cure percent go up so fast so high so early, i had to dump some points into slowing it, luckily i chose more points from popping bubbles so i had the points, thanks again i can FINALLY move on!

All of these tutorials have helped a ton! I always end up beating it after following all the steps. The only difference is, my cure jumps after the first symptom, lol. When you're on 12% cure, I'm at around 56%, I end up spending extra points on all the Genetic Shuffles. I finished though in 1728 days at a 79% cure level.

If you put in the extra effort to pop bubbles, Metabolic Jump can really make the difference between getting that vital symptom or losing. That's the only thing I changed on my first attempt with this guide and it worked great! 1130 days :)

Completed in 854 days with this tutorial. Lost 2x on my own and once with a different guide before I looked your guide up. I did use a slightly different build path toward the end because my disease was being cured because of a mutation I didn't notice. Overall though your build path was what helped me succeed. Love your tutorials. First time it did work for me. My score 1419 days and 18040. I followed it how you have but once you develop symptoms everything goes crazy. And you will have some people that haven't turned to zombies so pay attention how you spend points. The cure will develop fast so use make the zombies aggressive so they can destroy the z com camps. Also to save you use regen shuffling 1 and 2. Also redevelop some symptoms to infect the ones that haven't turned to zombies. That's all you gotta do. Thanks I also used the creationist gene if you don't have it devolve any symptoms so it goes unnoticed.

Finally finished it! Got mine down in 499 days. I made sure to have the gene to increase mutation chance. I first acquired Segmented Genome and then used all the Zoonotic Shift nodes for my transmission. Didn't touch the blood or saliva transmissions. I upgraded to Crytopathic Reanimation asap and immediately went for Horde Pheromones and Liquefactive Resistance. By now the transmission was so fast any time I moved a horde it simply swamped anything in it's path. Any remaining points went into increasing combat effectiveness.

The thing that annoys me with this level, is that I get random mutations so damn early. Refunding them costs too much and then I don't have enough points to continue the game and lose anyway. Did you have some sort of modifier that denies any mutations?

Listen guys, I had the same issue as you with symptoms being mutated all the time and here is the trick: It's luck, it's pure luck. All you need is to have the Creationist gene and follow these steps and eventually it will work. Just keep trying. Thanks again Chillbilly

How to Unlock ALL GENES easily and early. 1. Start A New Game on any difficulty. Bacteria is the easiest to win. 2. Get to a point where you are about to win. The closer you are to the end, the quicker this will go. 3. Save your game. I somehow managed to save my game with 0% of the population left alive, which GREATLY sped up the process. 4. Win! Unlock a new Gene! 5. Upon reaching the main menu, press "Load Game" 6. Load the game where you are about to win. 7. Win! Unlock another new Gene! 8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until you run out of Genes to unlock.

That's the thing about this level. If you go too fast into the transmissions you have a problem with mutations. None of the other levels do that so viciously. I have had about a 90% success rate with this one. I play it over and over just to make sure the tutorial remains correct. I'm sorry you didn't have first time success with it.

Okay folks. So Necroa is one of those that changes. The reason it doesn't work is because you are either going too fast with your points, or you are just getting bad luck. I have reworked this one a few times using the same tutorial. 4/5 times it has worked the 1 time it didn't work I accidentally let a symptom go without seeing it. I am not going to be doing an update video for this one.

all goes well untill about 60% through global infection, then the symtoms appear literally every few in game days so i have to either burn all my points or the cure gets found before it finishes infecting, and since i can only remove them a few times before im out i have to restart basically, its done this the past 7 times. i followed what you did and even used less chance of mutating gene it still does it at around 50-60%

I have tried Necroa Virus 9 or 10, or so, times now and I do believe they've patched it since this video. I have not beaten this level once. Every time I've played they finish the cure after I start turning people into zombies, sometimes I do beat ZCom, however most of the time I haven't. I have tried your playthru of transmissions, abilities, and symptoms, while trying it different a few times, and nothing works. I have no idea if it's all just bad luck with the game, or if they did indeed patch it to make it more difficult. It's just so damn frustrating.

Hey man, your tutorial is better than anything else I've tried so far but I have three problems. 1) Mutations (stupid bloody things) 2) Discovery at very early points regardless of symptoms which I really don't get 3) Australia, the country I live in keeps shutting its borders. 8/1/2024 this doesnt work. keep getting random evolved symptoms even with creationist. when i got all the stage one setup done. i dont have enough points for stage 2. only for my infection to be detected and cured very fast. also not devolving the symptoms gets me detected as well even if i manage to get zombies going zcom takes over places with small zombie population and secure the area. edit i manage to win and not get a mutation this time. very interesting
