The explanation i gave is considered more common for female cats, maternal instincts and all, but yours works for both male and female. And of course, some people think they just wanna show off. Really there are tons of explanations as to why they do it... and tbh its kinda hella cute (except when they get brave enough to literally bring it into your bed! my moms cat did that once) i like the explanation of Cat Hafu wanting to snack on Ze with Chilled tho

No, a dead one is worse. With a live mouse, you can open a door (if it got brought in) and hold the cat so the mouse can get away, but if it's dead, the cat will leave the mouse in the most inconvenient place, and if the cat brought it inside, you then have to get it out yourself, although sometimes you might be able to encourage the cat to take it back outside itself, especially if it has just brought it in and still keeps picking it up. And if you managed ot shut the door before the cat brought it inside, then they will play with the mouse right where you can see it. Birds are also worse than mice, at least the ones where I used to live, because the mice where pretty small but once one of my cats brought down a pretty big bird and managed to bring it inside.

No, Ik in mobile you don't actually have to enter a name if you don't want to and the game is ok with it. It's really common for people to not have a name. A sign of hackers in this game when the colors of the bodies switch or there is more than one color in the group. Also, if there is no kill cooldown or a button cooldown, which just lets the hackers grief the game.
