What is Among us?
As you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone!
When a body is discovered you call a vote to decide who killed them! You can also call an emergency vote if you are suspicious. But becareful...it may lead to you getting sent out the air lock!

I swear, the only purpose of the traitor role seems to be to steal Chilled's win after he single handedly kills all the impostors. Also, Kaden perfectly executing Chilled's plan of voting last second and salvaging that win was beautiful.

@@philhackler3395 When all impostors die with a certain number of crewmates left there is a chance one of the crew gets converted to traitor. The specific percent chance is a setting you can change, I think they have it set at 10%.

Courtilly and Chilled just _really_ don't work together as a pair. Either they end up Impostor buddies and Chilled betrays her for his lover, or Courtilly revives him just so he can go and kill himself twice more, or they end up as lovers and Chilled kills her. It just never works out.

Kaden’s vote was the only one that wouldn’t reset. All votes on assassinated person reset. Kaden didn’t do anything but watch. All that was needed was for Chilled to time his assassination at 1 second and it’s a guaranteed ejection. It’s really surprising they don’t do it more often in 2v3’s. It’s an auto win.

I would love to see a bit where Chilled and someone else (maybe Speedy), take people down to specimen. One of them is either the Glitch or Morphling, and have them guess which one of them is the real Speedy/Chilled. If they get it wrong, the fake one slices them in two. It would be funnier if one of them was Janitor and the other was a Morphling. So the Janitor can clean up the mess.

I don't understand the rationale behind the goddamn Traitor role. So, from what I understand, is that when the last imposter is killed, one of the people who killed him become Traitor. So it punishes people for playing well. How is that good team balance? *"You have joined a game in progress, a loss will not be recorded."*

It becomes easier if you played well because people will think you're cleared, which will often give you enough good will to take out the last few people without being sused out. Its effectiveness actually directly scales with your participation and helpfulness lol

It's inspired by the Traitor mechanic from Town of Salem, where a Town Role is aligned with the Mafia from the start but they get to kept their abilities. The Among Us mod version of Traitor is that it is given mid game to extend the round and give the imposters a chance after they were knocked out early that they should have and the crewmate lost their roles as well. The problem is that 1) It removed what one of the fun aspects of the Traitor role (being able to use your role as a bad guy) and 2) it's given mid-game rather than the start of one and in random, meaning that the a good town turned traitor player was removed from a win due to what is essencially a coin flip. That's BS right?

@@strawberryowl962 To add on to those problems, Traitor is SOMETIMES given when imps are two of the three people dead (ie: both die very early on), but other times Traitor is given when both imposters were voted out and there are 5 or less crewmates/ non killing roles. 5 or less crew in a game of 15 (not all games are 15, that's just lobby cap) makes Traitor just kind of dumb. What's even worse imo is that snitch can see Traitors so if the last imp got voted out bc of Snitch, and you just got turned into Traitor, guess what? Your win was just snatched away from you by pure rng. Honestly, Traitor has potential, but as it is, there are many cases when it's just a win steal. Edit: spelling lol

57:00 So… wait a second…? That one round… Chilled got Courtilly, and subsequently died as a result (due to being lovers)… How the hell did Courtilly steal his Grenadier role…? I mean, it’s clearly a race condition (similar to the bug where some would see people dead only once voting began-a killer kills before their game realizes a meeting was called (when this happens, the killed player gets the meeting called animation immediately followed by the kill animation). So, some of the other games may not realize that person is dead until after the name list order is finalized.). It’s just, I’d assume the data saying “Chilled died” and “Chilled killed Courtilly” would hit at the same time. Imposter trades work due to the lag between reporting one player kills and when that killed player’s game realizes that fact-them getting a kill in. Just, both of their deaths should’ve been sent via Chilled. The only way that’s likely possible is if those deaths aren’t sent at the same time-and if Chilled’s death is sent first. The window for that seems nearly impossible to hit. Crazy. Also, don’t quote me. I could be wrong. It just sounds that way from how I expect the game to act. I could be dead wrong. That being said, these vids always make my day. Love every second of them. Always.
