Honestly, Ze is probably the best Ti in this group, he used to play rank in old TOS as well. I kinda felt bad for Ze when I saw some comments calling Ze a try-hard. In a game like ToS, especially this new one, it doesn't allow much room for mistakes from the town's side. I get Ze's POV, he's like me when I first played OG Tos, always ultra-focused on figuring out crimes and mafias. Tbh, that's the only way the town could stand a chance, good TIs providing solid info, otherwise the Mafs or Nes will just steamroll the town. I get some viewers will claim "It's just a party game", but it's definitely not a good feeling when you are on the receiving end of losing repetitively, either by a passive town or a town filled with trolls that don't want to win. Honestly, it just takes 1~2 bad town player to ruin the entire game, trust me I played enough games back in the day to know the suffering.

It's also worth noting for those who didn't watch the stream, Chilled was getting rocked hard multiple rounds in a row before that one, so Ze purposely defended him this game so he'd be able to have some actual content. Ze's a full bro, and the fact Chilled just happened to be Doomsayer was the icing on top.

Doomsayer reminds me of Return of the Obra Dinn where you had to guess the identities of people who died, how they died, and who they were, and it would only reveal to you if you were correct when you got all of the details of three separate people right.

I feel like I can only watch chilled play these types of games. Like with Among us, Town of Salem, First Class Personoid(or is it Resident?), I try to watch other youtubers play it but it doesn’t seem appealing to me. Of course I watch all the rest of the videos on this channel too, but I can only watch these games on Chilled’s channel.

@@JonathanDoe0I think it’s because Chilled found the perfect balance between trying to win and content. It would get old really soon if they only focus on one of them, that’s why I tend to not watch serious gamers as well as pure content gamers. For me personally, I do find competitions fun to watch, but sometimes in a group when the skill level differs, and their goals as well, it’s hard to be fun when only a couple of them are trying to win and the rest are not. Not to say some people will get salty when they’re losing, further ruining the fun of the lobby. On the other hand, pure content creators will ruin the objective of the game, that’s why “Game Throwing “ is usually frowned upon in most game communities. Occasionally trolling can be fun every now and then, but if it’s every game, it gets less and less funny and defeats the purpose of the game IMO.

Winning or losing Chilled will at least know all the information the game inherently provides.

I love how in this game the vigilante and prosecutor can get hanged for killing a single town member that probably was suspicious to begin with. Yet the veteran can massacre so many innocent people and no one gives AF about it.

Well duh. The Vigilante chooses who they want to shoot. All the Veteran does is sit home and shoot anyone dumb enough to visit them. Which makes it not the Vet's vault when town touches them and dies.

Transporter used to be my most hated town role, you just chilling in your cabin, and "Oh snap, you had been transported with XXX, you're dead!!". Random transporting already fuck up the infos enough, not to say getting killed by one, it pissed me off more than RDM vigs for some reason🙃 I had way too many jailor games got screwed over by trans, they either not paying attention or deliberately tried to fuck you up, remember the old "TP Lo on me" meta? Some trans would do that to troll the jailor and the whole town, teleport you away from safety, and sometimes got you killed n1.

Btw, I totally get it if Chilled wants to take a break from this game after watching the recent session. Imo, ToS is a game where playing solo in a random lobby would be more fun, it's really hard to not get tunneled in a lobby where everyone knew each other. Furthermore, it's almost impossible to find the line between try-harding & pure content, since it's hard to be merciful about not killing a person or sparing an evil role even when you find out their roles, holding roles usually backfired hard in this game. This is the type of game where a streamer's content is often built on another's agony, the worst part is once you die you have to sit there for 15~20 minutes without doing much, at least in Among Us, the pace is faster, and dead people get to talk with each other, but in this game, they only got 30 secs in the nighttime, can't even finish a conversation. Unlike a normal lobby, you can't just leave after dying, I could only imagine the struggle for the content creators. It's hard to find the balance,like can you really blame someone who killed you n1 or outed you as investigators/kill you as jailor or TKs? They're all just doing their jobs and playing the game right, it's just not fun from the receiving end, and it makes it harder when everyone in the lobby is good friends as well.

it's balanced by being able to guess revealed mayor, deputy, prosecutor, and being able to guess "random neutral" and "random coven" for any neutral or coven, not needing to get their exact roles.

@@a.v.y8331 I mean feel like that makes sense for coven, guessing exact roles is pretty tricky w/ coven most the time imo... though feel like being able to guess revealed roles is questionable and neutrals... like c'mon no reason why they can't guess specific neutrals or at least their alignment like neutral evil/killing/apocalypse. maybe make it so they can know if they got at least one right... but in exchange any coven after the first they need to guess the type (and if a 3rd needs to be the exact role), same w/ the neutrals, and that they can only include one revealed role

"Enemies To Lovers" is a genre/tag for ASMR roleplays. Think Batman/Catwoman type scenarios or Vampire/Vampire Hunter etc. In other words Cheesy was just saying you were enemies because his role revealed that info but adding "to lovers" for no reason other than to confuse people for the hell of it.
