Dang that last girl is a beast she never hesitated to take the first bite. She has my respect, I ate a raw ghost pepper one time and I almost started panicking I couldn’t imagine anything hotter than that

Yeah that was impressive. I love hot peppers and I once entered a competition, getting to the final chilli which was a ghost pepper. There were three of us left and I ate one ghost and could not carry on. The 2nd place winner ate two of them and the winner did a 3rd pepper. I ran home and went to bed straight after. I awoke at 3 in the morning, puked the hottest puke I ever did then my stomach started hurting so bad I was writhing on the bathroom floor crying. My wife wanted to call an ambulance but I absolutely refused to go to hospital over something like that. One of the worst experiences of my life.

@@Stigstigster that sounds horrible! Reminds me of when I had a kidney stone. I had a ghost pepper a few years ago and it was worse than expected, the burning goes all the way to your ears and it lasts way longer than I expected. Plenty of burning long after all the fun and excitement had worn off.

little did anyone know but Antalia has a rare genetic mutation whereby her capsaicin receptors are blocked. she merely ACTS like the peppers are hot, all the while not feeling any of the peppers effects.

Wouldn't it also partly or even mostly be about who has the fewest capsaicin receptors on their tongue and throat? Unless everyone lacks the same amount and the winner truly is the one who can endure pain and discomfort the longest as you stated.

Your devices are listening iphones (prob all smart phones), laptops, TV's, probably router, those robot vacuum cleaners , firestick remotes, alexa etc.

@@johnfrancis5673 Not mine. don't have an iPhone or an Alexa and I use a 14 year old Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop specifically because it doesn't have a camera or microphone. If I need one, I'll plug one in and remove it when I'm finished with it. The laptop might not be quite as fast as a new one but it's good enough.

Top Tip if your thinking of entering into one of these events do one thing, For 3 Days before you go eat Bananas, Goats cheese , Thick Yogurt, Then Take a Block of Lard and 5 minutes before the competition starts eat the Lard , Then the Hotness will Hardly effect you, As all that counteracts the chillies.

No joke. I diced up a red habanero for some jerk chicken a few days ago. I'm not dumb, and wore gloves to cut it up. Must not have been careful enough, because about 15 min later it felt like I soaked my hands in boiling water. Lasted for hours. Habaneros are my threshold where the flavor is worth the heat, but anything hotter just isn't enjoyable anymore.

it kind of starts at habanero heat for me personally. like around 200K. but i can handle a ghost pepper. they're so yummey, but anything higher than that i don't know.

I like heat on a lot of my food by way of hot sauces, relishes, pepper flakes and pickled peppers but I couldn't and wouldn't do it straight up like that, just too much for me. they really got to the high end of those scovil units, kinda fun to watch. thnx for the show.

No, sir, that is horrible advice, she was chewing them properly, if you don't chew them much, once they hit your stomach they will get rejected. Most especially any of the really hot stuff, like ghost chilis and up, you can get what are called cap cramps, which are really unpleasant. To quote Chili Klaus, fight the battle in your mouth.

The hot pepper should be chewed. I can eat any chili pepper as long as I chew a lot. My saliva quenches the heat. However, if he swallows quickly - this is the biggest mistake. Spicy should not reach the throat. Throat can't take it.
