Happened before to me in the middle of a Fire Drill, I was so confused so I ran directly back to my classroom. The lockdowns start BEFORE a suspicious individual enters, and most schools have teachers check outside for others. During a drill, I heard the Principal yelling "Ms. Puglia, don't you dare lock me out!" as she started running towards her classroom, which was the only one that was unlocked. This one drill we had, in Social Studies proved how some of the things we've been told to do don't work. The man who was checking easily pushed open the door, if that was a real lockdown, I wouldn't be able to tell you this story. I'd be dead.

first name last name That is a very well-articulated argument you have there. Aside from the fact there were no "machine guns" involved in this incident, the officer simply needed to engage the shooter even if he couldn't pacify him. This would, at the very least, provide a window of opportunity for students to escape while the shooter was distracted with a gun fight.

Can you imagine how the yellow dot on the third floor felt, very very injured scared and everyone else in the hallway already dead, imagine if he was playing dead and telling others who he also thought were playing dead that cruz was gone, only to find out when he woke up in the hospital later that they WERE NOT playing dead. This can’t happen anymore we can’t be going into school feeling like this is a legitimate possibility everyday, this is not only there, this isn’t a “oh it’ll never happen to me” scenario, kids go into schools everyday and sometimes wonder if they’ll be next, they’ll be the next news story for 3 days then be back to just another victim of another crazy person who ‘just happened to have found a gun’, this cant happen anymore.

It's sad to see people saying that this shooting was a hoax, It really is. Just imagine if you had a child,a friend, a parent, or a sibling, maybe even a teacher, that was shot at a place where they learned and worked at and all of a sudden two months or more later some people are denying it, it would be horrifying and sad to see or hear. I feel really bad for the families and friends that had the people that they knew really well taken from them and I feel even more bad for them if they ever see the comments denying this shooting, but I hope something like this doesn't happen to anyone and I hope Congress or the president at least take action to make the gun laws stricter and I'm not suggesting to take away the second amendment 'cause we really need that amendment for self-defense. Rest in Peace to the 17 victims in the parkland shooting and I wish the best for the families and friends recovering after their loss.

JUST SHOW THE VIDEO OF HIM EVEN CARRYING A GUN
@tonydavis91856 жыл бұрын
All video on campus is protected by FERPA, they would have to blurr out the faces of any students shown, however at this time releasing any evidence to the Public is absolutely unnecessary, and will only Bias the Jury and violating Nikolas's 5th Amendment Right to a Fair Trial
@MrTheguywiththemoney6 жыл бұрын
Tony Davis, how would showing people what really happened make them biased? Biased towards truth?
@tonydavis91856 жыл бұрын
It would violate the Accuse's 5th Amendment "Right to a Fair Trial" by "Tainting the Jury", the first people to see that video should be the Jury, not the Public See Maxwell v Sheppard

isnt showing this idiotic graph of dots, & calling the shooter/black dot, Nikolas Cruz, also violating his 5th amendment then?? i really dont see the difference. This is just as wrong and harmful to his defense as showing a video then .. but i have a feeling they want to impress something other than the real events into people's minds, i.e. put their spin on it, BEFORE the trial even begins
@nickslosubi6906 жыл бұрын
Roseann Madia Its a theorey and not concrete fact (this graphic). Releasing the video may let him free in a series of complications. The video needs to stay locked away until the pos is convicted imo

Imagine being stuck on the second or third floor hallway and knowing if you try to escape you’ll have to go downstairs through the line of fire. It gives me the chills just thinking about it. I can’t imagine what these kids must’ve had to go through.
@trailermashproductions34376 жыл бұрын
Luckily nobody died in the 2nd floor. They were in the locked classrooms. Probably the saddest part is the 3 students on the 3rd floor that were trapped in were shot point blank by Cruz when he saw them

Watching this animation I can’t imagine the parents getting the phone calls and texts from their kids inside those classrooms. Can’t imagine the parents who didn’t get a chance to take their child home ever again. When will these horrible acts stop???? 😞😞😞

This happened literally 30 minutes away from me and I’m still so deeply affected by it, I can’t imagine the people who went through this. The teachers, the students, the staff, the parents, anyone. This is so unsettling and It’s scary to think that this could’ve been any school and it makes me want to cry. I pray every night that this doesn’t happen to anyone I know or anyone in general.

At 3:40 when he starts going down the hall the reason Peter Wang died in 1200A (stairs) is because he held the door open for the fleeing students, Jaime was the only one who didn’t survive the flee, when they all finished fleeing Peter was shot and fell they’re missing another green dot though a teacher held the right door open (not sure if they survived or not though) for the other students only a few feet away from dead Jaime Peter and that Teach are heroes

I feel the pain of the green dots sitting there watching your classmates die when I was in fifth grade we had a lockdown but I was in the bathroom I thought it was a drill so I ran out of the bathroom to my classroom to find it locked then over the intercom I heard this is not a drill then I heard screams from the first grade hallway and laughing coming from a deranged man so I hid in the stalls of the bathroom till the police got there

As you can see during the first 38 seconds Cruz goes into the stairway to load up his assault rifle while a student walks by him and Cruz says to the student “You better get out of here, things are about to get messy” and you can see the student dashes out of the building warning others about what is to come.

I am so sorry Eden, I can’t imagine how traumatizing that must’ve been for you and for those who did survive. Just know that this wasn’t your fault. This was the act of a weak human being and the fault was his. He will answer for this someday and the people you lost and loved will rise above this. 💔❤️
