Chilling in Playa Venao 🇵🇦 Panama Travel Vlog

I had 4 days to kill in Panama City so instead of hanging around, I decided to head to Playa Venao on the Pacific coast! It was a 6 hour shuttle and it was SO worth it. Jess and I stayed in Selina Playa Venao which is the first ever Selina opened up in the world and it was truly stunning! Honestly we didn't do a whole lot other than yoga and chill and it was glorious!

Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I have a house in Playa Venao, next to Selina. It's paradise and I never want to leave. Yes, this is the first Selina ever. And if you buy 250+ shares in Selina stock, you get free access to coworking sites at all Selinas. The name of the surf shop is Shokogi. You missed showing Terracotta, the workshop in the round building near reception, which has all sorts of classes (soap-making, pottery, macrame, and more). The Azuero peninsula is the driest area of Panama and it generally doesn't rain from January to April. Yes, My Pink Bus is a great way of traveling between Playa Venao and Panama City. The sand is hot because it's volcanic. Same in Guatemala and El Salvador.

Farmacia = pharmacy Panadería = bakery Enfermería = infirmary Then there are words that are not places but follow the same pattern: Geografía = geography Terapia = therapy Galería = gallery And sure… many places in English don’t end in y, but also many places in Spanish don’t end in ia. Gasolinera, banco, hotel, mercado, cinema, etc.

selina's are lowkey all inclusive resorts for millenials... you don't even have to leave them (which is why i don't like them!!)

Ahh girl, there are more affordable ways to get there with public transport. But the journey would take up to 8 hours in total, but it would cost aroun 20-25 us dollars. For the comfort the shuttle bus is def worth it :)

What's the closest international airport if flying in from Canada?

You can try this one: Coclé, Rio Hato (RIH), I heard that this airport receive some international filghts from Canada but it is mainly to go to a nearby beach Resorts (probably special flights). The main Panama international airport code is PTY, Tocumen.
