If you are new to Chilliwack here is a quick look at the Sardis Park neighbourhood and why people love living in this area. Walking distance to all levels of schools, golf course, stores and restaurants. Also every style of home. Condos, townhouses, ranchers, BC box, single detached, gated communities. What prices look like in Sardis Park as of Oct 2021:
Condos: Trading at low end 1 bedroom for $330k and as high as $555 for newer and larger 2 bedroom.
Townhouses: Trading at low end 1600 sqft unit for $580k and as high as $700k for larger 2400 sqft units.
Gated Communities: Haven't seen many available lately. Last sale was around $740k a few months ago.
Detached: Basic well maintained BC box style homes have been trading between $850k to $950k depending on updates and size of yard.
Homes with larger lots and backing onto the park have been trading between $1.2 Million and $1.4 Million.

In 1990's we lived on corner of Sheffield and Manuel. Had a strawberry field across from us on Manuel.

Ya it was between 2000-2003 that they started the Parksfield development on Sheffield. Feels like it's been there longer.
