Yes, if one is brave enough, you can do exactly what the man in the video did. The moisture in your skin evaps so quickly that it creates a force/barrier/bubble that prevents the molten rock from sticking to your skin. Obviously he couldn't just hold his hand underneath of it like a faucet in a sink but quickly it works. I've seen it I person. Not as full on like this guy but I have definitely seen it in action on a smaller scale.
