Back when Attack on Titan premiered in 2013, I was fresh out of college, looking for a job and in a longtime relationship. Now we are in the year 2021 and I’ve since then married that same person. We have a four year old son together and his name is Eren. I did name him out of love for Eren Jaeger, but also because Eren is a traditionally masculine Turkish name. And his father and I are both Turkish. Appearance-wise, our son reminds me a lot of the kid version of Eren Jaeger. He has the same dark brown hair and the same light tanned skin. He has brown eyes instead of green though. (And doesn’t have all that pent-up rage… yet). Anyway, the manga has ended months ago. We know what the outcome will be and the final season half will premier soon. It’s bittersweet, because the manga ending wasn’t to my liking. Despite that, I respect Isayama for the world and characters he created and for giving us that suspenseful, painful journey. Also still remember the days when AoT seasons 1-2 ruled the world and everyone posted their own theories on *what the hell is going on.* Good times I will definitely cherish that time.

Manga ended, scroll down if you don’t want spoilers Chapter 139 of the series jumps back in time to a conversation that Eren had with Armin before his death. Just like his final mental space conversation with Mikasa, Eren lays out all of his thoughts with Armin and essentially accepts the fact that he will die for everything he's done. Although he explains done all of this to protect Armin and the others, this path only had one ending for him that he foresaw through his Attack Titan power. It's confirmed soon after when Mikasa arrives with Eren's head. Eren has officially died, and with his death comes the end of the Titan power overall (saving all of those who were forcibly transformed in the penultimate chapter). After all of this, Mikasa takes Eren's head and buries him under the tree that they loved. As the series comes to an end, the world begins to move on
