Turns out there was 24 holes, but I have repaired them all now with some silicone and silnylon patches. I was hoping to sell the tent because I have plans for the next version but that plan has been ruined by the silly weka!

Very nice video and hike. I thought that the bird might peck Raiden. Can you seal the claw holes in the tent? Swimming in "crushed up jello" doesn't sound good. Have fun. Good Luck, Rick

There were 24 holes in the tent in the end. There were too big to seal with just silicone, so each one with a bit of silicone and a patch of silnylon. It is water tight again but I was originally hoping to sell it once I build the next version, so that won't go so well now.

@@ChillyBinHikes Well, it is a genuine NZ tent complete with custom NZ bird markings. Here I have problems with mice. They get into and tear up everything. The ticks on them carry 8 diseases. It's a constant battle. Atleast the birds were cute. Good Luck with Your Adventures, Rick
