In my experience if you take an educated African and compare him or her to the same person of equal education from the West, you will see that the African stands out by a mile. Believe me I know. Right we should continue to make sure that we don't allow ourselves to become victims to what happened in the past but at the same time what really holds back africa and it's people is that they continue to live thinking that they will get something from the past and that is not the case.
