CHIMERA 7 PRO V2 - 5th test prep flight + impressions (iFlight)

Just wrapped up the fifth trial run for our upcoming Alps adventure set for February 25th.
Today wasn't about pushing the range; it was all about honing those landing skills.
Still, couldn't resist giving this beast a quick little stretch of its wings...
So, got some vibes to share, and hey, maybe a solid tip for nailing those landings smoother if anyone's looking for it.

I ran these tests because I'm all about getting to know every little detail of how this bird flies, ensuring safety, and pushing its limits.
Plus, I'm eager to share my journey with fellow long-range enthusiasts. Sure, the footage isn't exactly eye candy, and the spots aren't postcard-worthy - they're strictly for putting this rig through its paces.

nice test flight. I still have 2 things: your cruise speed is around 80-90 kmh, right? For long range fpv that's quite a lot. Flying less quickly uses less battery. I mean, you already have 8000 mah, which is a lot, but if you want to push the range to the limit, I recommend flying slowly. 2. To land: have you already tried landing in air mode. So take off your goggles and land by eye. It can be a bit dangerous, but if there is a lot of snow, I catch the drone with my hands. Switch to Airmode and fly in front of you. Put off you goggles and hold out your hand. Turn off the motors with the other hand. Catch the copter. I'm really excited about your journey

Hey buddy, thanks a bunch for the tips, much appreciated! Yeah, you're spot-on about the speed thing. Right now, I'm not planning on pushing past 4 km, so the speed I've got going is pretty chill (though hey, a little slowdown never hurt anybody). But for sure, your advice totally makes sense if I decide to push the boundaries later on... honestly, not even sure I've got that kind of range 'cause I'm rockin' the Goggles Integra without helical antennas. As for the other tip; man, I'm not quite as slick as you yet, gotta wait 'til I can rock firmware 4.4. Got the gear to do it now, but no OSD... waiting on that official preset from iFlight.
