Absolutely stunning flight. I set my warning at 3.5v for li-ion as well so I get a constant reminder to make sure I don't fly too far or too much.

I like your videos. I would love to FPV long range and freestyle in Croatia one day. I just finished building my chimera 7 pro v2 using DJI 03 air, betafpv true diversity 2.4g rtx, 2 x 120mm matchstick direct to ufl connect, Iflight f745 55a stack. Just started binding and beta flight. Still have to download firmware for elrs betafpv diversity rtx and betafpv diversity module tx. Then I’ll do a cli dump from Iflight and start test flights. I’m in Australia and there’s some nice mountain ranges very close to where I live. Hopefully I’ll test fly it on Sunday. I’ve got 3 4200mah 6s li ion batteries and 1 8400mah 6s li ion battery all using molicell 21700 batteries. Keep flying, I really like your soundtracks and the quality is sublime. I am full Croatian, so watching these beautiful videos of my homeland brings a tear to my eye. My parents are from Dubrovnik and Split, so that makes me a Dalmatian.

Hey there, man, seriously, your comment really touched me because I can totally relate. I spent three months in Australia (Caloundra, QLD) after high school in the summer of 1991, and I just needed to sign to get citizenship, but I couldn't do it. I was in tears watching the news from Croatia, and that's why I came back. As for the drone - awesome choice! Many people, including myself, have nothing but great things to say about that drone. Props to you for putting it together yourself - I'd love to do that too, but I just don't have the know-how or time to dive into it all... Thanks a ton for your kind comment! yeah the fpv story. there's allways something happening. I even think ive had the cable thing mid air.. I kept flying and got signal back 2 seconds later while allmost flying into some stingy bushes. I got back and couldnt find anything.. mayb it helps to put a drop of coating at the plug so it sticks to it. Right now I have a simular issue with my waterproof drone.. when I land rough.. it's like it's unplugged.. so I will check fc and fc cable. nice content and I still need to get a propper chimera some day with diversity.

That sounds pretty risky if it’s happening during rough landings… definitely sounds like a loose connection issue, and you're losing contact. Might be worth sending it in for service just to be 100% sure. What drone are you flying? P.S. Thanks, I’m really glad you liked the video! More content from remote spots is coming soon. I just got a new quad (ATV) to go even further out into the wild. I’ve got diversity too, but I’m hitting range limits (maxing out at 5.5 km), probably because I modded the Integra. Swapped the cables, but still having issues. Hopefully, I’ll get it sorted soon. Good luck with your new drone hunt, the Chimera7 is a solid choice! Happy flying!

@@Wild__FPV thnx. The atv will def be an upgrade. Specially woth those remote places. I have nkt flown out far. Im on a small island.. everything is water.. salt. I have a saltwaterproof cinewhoop qav pro. Build myself. So the loose connection is somwhere packed up.. cant see need to open it up.. its different then conformal coating. Its with rubber butyl and heatshields. So def neet to open up and check.

Hey bro, thanks a bunch! I'll definitely let you know how the situation with the new cables goes (still waiting for them to arrive from China). In the meantime, I've ordered some helical 3-turn antennas, supposedly good for a smooth 6+ km range with those antennas. Yeah, I tried channel 3 at 40 MHz, but honestly, I didn't notice any difference. I'll keep experimenting though. What are your experiences with channels? You've got a hack, I assume?

@@Wild__FPV with Integra's stock antennas I start getting red warnings around 3.5 km. I'm flying at sea level and high humidity in the air, which I assume that deteriorates signal a bit. I performed the Integra's mod you recently published, but I didn't have the chance to test its full potential yet. So far I was able to reach 3.5 km without warnings, which is for sure an improvement. Hopefully I will be able to reach 4.5 km this weekend (if I do I will post a video). I share the same thoughts regarding 40 Mhz channels, I don't see much of a difference. I will be looking forward to watch your experience with the helical antennas, thanks for producing such great content!

I'm really glad to hear that you made the modification, and the result you achieved is within expectations. Currently, I don't see those antennas achieving a range greater than 5 km. I'm waiting for the helical antennas, but it seems like the post lost them... What kind of terrain are you planning to fly over? Mountains, maybe? Can't wait to see your videos! Catch you later!

@@Wild__FPV For long range tests I fly above the sea. This weekend I was able to reach 4.5 km, but then I freaked out with a temperature warning and return a bit earlier than planned (video on my channel). I might be able to go a bit further next time. I noticed that my video signal oscillates way more than yours…I wonder if I have a broken ipex to rp-sma pigtail in the loop.
