I learned Cimpoi in the mid '70s at the International Folk Dance Club of Richmond when Glenn Bannerman was MC. Thanks for a nice demonstration of a favorite. I've never seen anyone dance an intro from counts 17 thru 32. It's a nice touch. I've always started the dance after count 32. I'll try it your way next time my group meets.
