You all are a beautiful family. It seems she was terrified of the doll at first. I’ve heard other Moms of Chinese adoptees, that dolls and stuffed animals with eyes, scared their kids at first, because they had never seen them. +Lauren Miller -- Love your Gotcha Video. Brielle is just precious! I love the picture of her (wearing her little red sneakers) running to baba. You can see just how tiny she is in that picture. Im sorry but these children shouldn't have to be taken away from their country and culture far away to another country. Their biological parents have these children up and given them away. How do you explain to them when old enough that their parents didnt want them and what happens should they want to meet their family back in Asia

So your solution is just let them sit in an orphanage with only bare minimum care and little interaction, age out as a young teen and cross their fingers they live to adulthood? Our daughter had been surrounded by love since she was 11 months old. She is a happy, healthy grad student close to us and her siblings, lots of friends and a bright future. I think she was better off with us
