China and Japan have reached an agreement over the release of wastewater from Japan’s destroyed Fukushima nuclear plant. The deal prepares the way for China to restart seafood shipments it banned because of concerns about the wastewater. The International Atomic Energy Agency is closely observing the release of the wastewater into the sea and has said it is safe.
(07:03) Then, Ashley and John Russell present the Health & Lifestyle Report. This week’s report deals with injuries from a pastime that might be surprising. Some experts give some advice on avoiding injuries while exercising with your dog friend. These include which leashes to use and how you should prepare yourself to walk your dog.
(14:07) Then, Ashley and John have a chat about vocabulary, namely the word “retractable.” John explains the word and its meaning in the context of the story.
Following the chat, Ashley looks ahead to tomorrow’s Education Report about budget cuts at some universities.
