WUZHOU, CHINA - China Boeing 737 plane crash animation.
China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 pulled out of one nosedive before another sent it crashing to the ground, according to flight data cited by the South China Morning Post.
On Monday, the Boeing 737-800 was traveling from Kunming, carrying 132 people, and had been due to land in Guangzhou in the afternoon.
Data from FlightRadar24 shows that just after 2:20 p.m. the plane was at 29,100 feet when it began to dive down at speeds of up to 348 miles per hour.
After 20 seconds, the rate of descent became slower, and for the next 45 seconds the plane began to slowly level off, before reaching 7,425 feet above the ground and eventually beginning to climb back up.
About 15 seconds later, however, with the plane at 8,600 feet, it fell into a second dive which it did not recover from, crashing into the ground after around 30 seconds of falling, in a wooded area of Teng county, near Wuzhou city. No survivors have been found.

For everyone who thinks the plane involved in this crash was a MAX 8, that is not true whatsoever. The plane involved was a 737-800 which is a cousin to the MAX 8. The MCAS system is only in the MAX 8 and not the 737-800. The MAX 8 is banned in China and this 737-800 was with China Eastern Airlines for six years prior to this crash.

@@DoorknobPlus Right. Causes of a plane crash is either going to be by pilot error or a malfunction. You can buy a brand new car and drive it for awhile but eventually its going to break down; you get the chance to pull to the side of the road but in a plane ✈️ breaks down mid flight is a different story.

FYI: A suspected wreckage piece, 1.3 meters long and 10 cm at its widest, was also found in farmland around 10 km away west from the crash site, said Zheng Xi, head of the fire brigade of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

There must be a strong reason why the airplane nose-dived to the mountain. Could be a reverse of switching up thus the elevator pointed down instead of up? And before the pilot realized, they lose control and it was too late to change the direction. Try it in the simulator given the altitude.
@Kreze202

Well, there was a known issue on the 737 MAX planes where the autopilot would automatically push the plane's nose down, thinking the plane was stalling when it wasn't. It caused 2 crashes leading up to it's temporary grounding, and those 2 crashes created this type of nose dive crash. Not saying that's what happened here, but definitely a possibility. (And now that I've actually watched the video, these 2 accidents wers mentioned in the video as well)

This is so full of incorrect information it should be banned:1- This was a 737-800 with no MCAST system as the MAX-8 in the Ethiopian Airlines crash. 2- The MAX is not allow to fly in China still , so this could not be a Max anyway. 3- China Eastern has 2 Maxes and both are "parked". ..... so wrong!

@@notfound3358 1- It is true that it does not say it was a MAX. Mea Culpa. 2- Is it my fault really? Have you ever heard of the term "guilty by association"? The same mistake that I did thinking that the video confused this plane with a Max will happen to many others BECAUSE THE VIDEO TALKS ABOUT CRASHES OF THE MAX AND COMPARES IT WITH THIS CRASH. THIS IS NOT CORRECT BY ANY MEANS! It is also incorrect to mention the 777x in this video when the idea is to talk about the crash of a whole different plane. AGAIN, THE IDEA OF THIS VIDEO IS TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT ALL BOEING PLANES ARE UNRELIABLE BY ASSOCIATION!

@JayJayAviation
@JayJayAviation 2 жыл бұрын
@@SomeOneOneOne For starters, 737 MAX has nothing to do with this crash. The whole reasons MCAS was added to the MAX was because of a aerodynamic characteristic that doesn’t exist on any other 737. Plus, MCAS has been fixed and pilots have been trained in the simulator on how to disable it. Secondly, the reason there wasn’t a distress call was because of one simple aviation rule: aviate, navigate, communicate, in that order. Aviate is the first objective; regain control of the aircraft. Then, navigate to a safe area and communicate to ATC your problem. Get control first. As they never fully regained control, they couldn’t communicate.

@@JayJayAviation Thank you for your extensive reply, doenst look like there was (could be) much done to stop the descent except for that one pull up before the crash. From the cabin video it looks like it was spiraling towards the ground and there was no way to save it. Also, yes if the pilot wanted to suicide he would have went straight into the terrain, not spiraling down. So I guess some sort of elevator malfunction! (bad maintenance maybe!?🤷‍♂️)
