India should actually relook its neighbourhood foreign policy. It is almost hilarious that our small and dependent neighbours like Nepal, Srilanka, Maldives etc adopt a very hostile behaviour while engaging with India. I'm not advocating coercive measures or bully attitude but atleast we need to set some strict and non compromisable ground rules with them that if they aspire forging good relations with India moving forward then they must also take into consideration India's genuine security concerns in the neighborhood or in their territory i.e., China. Respect always comes from fear and power.

Never invest in Nepal. Instead Invest in North East India. Create jobs for our own people. Find ways to feed and look after abandoned elders in Kashi, vrindavan.
