I’m 20 years old listening to this everyday. this video was the first time I heard either I know you rider or China cat. Very grateful for these two musicians, I always am in a better headspace after listening. RIP David… and thank you for leaving us with a masterpiece of a cover.

You lads really nailed it. Such lovely relaxed phrasing, lots of space for expression, very complementary and well worked out - especially the clever bridging sections - but still totally natural. My hat's off to you both. There's an extra verse of "I Know You Rider" that I picked up from a John Renbourn album back in the seventies. He does it as what seems to be a very technical fingerpicking piece in A but it's quite easy I know my baby, She's bound to love me some (x2) Why she throws her arms around me Like a circle round the sun
