80s videos are the best!!!!!! I miss music and videos like this one.
@emandalosvek40549 жыл бұрын
You miss them when you can't get access to YT or your music collection? For most people in the west, YT or their music collection access is readily available on all sorts of devices and missing 80's music and videos when not watching or listening to it would seem a to be an unhealthy obsession.
@Greatest19799 жыл бұрын
That's not what I meant, sweetheart! I grew up in the 80s/90s and back in those days videos in the style of this one by China Crisis were very popular. Interesting, funny, quirky and sometimes thought-provoking videos that we had back then, artists of today don't make anymore. And to me the average pop music back then sounded a lot better and more interesting than what is released by today's music-industry. Most pop music of today I find boring or re-hatched/sampled/copied from the days when music used to be good.
@emandalosvek40549 жыл бұрын
Greatest1979 Luckily you are able to live in the music past though technology although you seem to be dissatisfied about that without mocking the current as being inferior and worthless? You got your rocks off here with your superiority claims, now you can listen to more 80's music and then mock the current music scene somewhere else for good measure.
@Greatest19799 жыл бұрын
OMFG, hahaha Superiority?!?!? What in God's name are you ranting about?!? All I said was that I miss the sort of music and videos we had back in the 80s. That is my right, just like it's yours to love todays music. Internet (YT included) is of everybody and for everybody and you say I should piss off cos I have a different musical taste than you yet you wanna label me as superior!?!?!? The fact that you get soooo worked up about my opinion of todays music makes me think I might be right. It's KZbin, darling, everybody can have their own opinion. You'd better get used to it or you'll more of these sort of "discussions"!
@emandalosvek40549 жыл бұрын
Greatest1979 I was simply encouraging your freedom to listen to what you want and concerned about your need to compare it with today's music in a black and white, good and bad scenario. My message was meant positively as I was hoping to help you learn and see the positives while learning what motivates you. I'm surprised that my intended help and a healthy curiosity could be perceived so confronting and negatively although I guess these things are in the eye of the beholder.

I'm from the Wirral, a surreal artist, exiled in dull old London and I love China Crises, typical inventive, surreal and witty Merseysiders, with some great melodic, thoughtful tunes. This Rene Magritte inspired video is ace, and is exactly like a mad dream youd have whilst asleep, the head splitting in two like you are one thing on the surface and another in your mind is psychologically fascinating. BTW am exhibiting at View Two Gallery Stuckist show Liverpool if you like surreal art.
