when i go thrifting like this, i bring 2 double AA batteries and 3 tripple AAA batteries, so that if i find old game systems, i can pop them in and see if they turn on (i also sometimes bring a game cart and pop it in making sure it can boot right)
@cnlonegamer4 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the advice. Also, the game cart can test if the screen has some lines or not😀

I'm surprised that there was an Original Xbox there, it seems like something that would be quite hard to find in China. Thanks for the update on the Game Gear, though I had a feeling it wouldn't work 😅 Great video, I'm looking forward to seeing Saint Seiya!
@cnlonegamer5 күн бұрын
@thenintendoshitcube Hahaha, I have that feeling, too. Actually, I carried 6 batteries with me this time, but sadly, there are not so many handhelds available. For Saint Seiya, one of my friends can finish it within 20 minutes IIRC, with the cheat code😆

I only just got recommended your channel an hour ago and watched all your ghost market videos, so interesting! I was thinking, to help with the channel, maybe consider a Patreon where you keep half the money and the other half is to purchase games for the patron, I'd be quite happy to send some money each month and get a load of cheap fake GB games in the post every few months.
@cnlonegamer6 күн бұрын
@TheKumaDono Thank you so much, brother! Actually, I found a GameBoy multi-cartridge last week, I'll show you guys in the future videos. Then I'll do some research about the Patreon you mentioned. Thank you so much🤜

I only learned the word Carousel from the BeeGees song “Saved by the Bell” and I checked the Carousell HK website, but I'm so sorry that I don't understand the Cantonese characters at all. Interesting to see so many clone consoles from the '90s just sitting there. We never see these things in the US, and they usually go for a lot on ebay.

@@cnlonegamer Yes, the grass is greener on the other side. BTW, is it common to find Korean version consoles in China? I think this is the third Korean Wii I've seen on your channel. I managed to get five Korean model 2 Sega Saturn consoles from Chinese sellers on Taobao years ago.
