I feel like CG is one of the only, if not THE only, brands that actually pays attention to the indie world. Swatch Out reminds me a bit of your Igneo Pebblit! I still like Igneo better, but it definitely came to mind watching you swatch this one. I love several of these shades.

Great collection and a lot of variety! I love and have You Don't Know Jacket. I've been looking for a dark navy blue polish that's not too dark to be confused with black, and this one is perfect! Jess, I totally agree with you about OPI and Zoya...Essie had more variety in 6 bottles than OPI and Zoya together. China Glaze & Essie, best fall polishes of 2018. OPI & Zoya the worst fall collections ever.

YES! I agree Essie and China Glaze really hit it out of the park this fall. I picked up all of the Essie and really stalked the local shops until they got it. The China Glaze I actually ordered part from Head To Toe beauty because I couldn't wait for Nail Polish Canada to get them in and they also had the Halloween collection as well which I ordered several from as well . Now that Nail Polish Canada has both in I have been ordering the ones I missed. Since we pay 30% more then you guys in the U.S. the entire collections would have been pretty harsh, 12 bottle collections I agree are a little too much, I like Essie with their 6. As for Zoya, I bought the entire collection from them because of their buy 6 and get 6 free with free shipping, I am too much of a bargain hunter to have passed that up..lol

Girl, it was not shady at all. I love Zoya but those last collections were too pink and red heavy! Now Zoyas new Holiday collection, I couldn't pass up their deal. I only wanted the new Pixie Dusts and the leopard top coat, but the whole collection plus 6 bonus polishes plus a Remove plus Naked Manicure for $70 was just too good to pass up.

I'm actually wearing Throwing Suede right now and it was a two-coater apart from my one problem nail. You know the nail, somehow it always needs 3 coats, or you finally get it right in two and then smudge it.

I haven't picked up any China Glaze for a long time but Pay it Fashion Forward and You Don't Know Jacket are stunning, I don't think I can live without them. Off topic, have you seen the new Femme Fatale Anniversary Trio? I saw the pink polish with strong gold shimmer and thought of you immediately. (I'm not affiliated with them, I don't even buy from them that often so I'm not trying to be a sales rep here!)

I have the Vest Friends and Pay it Fashion Forward and love them, but, when they dry after 2 coats, they're not as glittery as it was when it was applied. They're beautiful tho

Revlon did some jelly mattes back in the day, called Just Tinted, and they were terrible. Pleather Weather looks way better.

I wonder, is Pleather Weather a jelly on purpose or are lighter colours, even as matte, just naturally very sheer? I had to do several coats to get it opaque (I have long nails and needed 4 coats but it dries quickly and I love it so I don't mind). Btw, I love CG's mattes and that they include one or two in every collection now 😍 Thanks for the video!

Feathy Girl a jelly polish is sheer. There are lots of light colours that are creme formulas and not sheer.

I am not a mainstream fan and sorta lump China Glaze with OPI, Zoya, etc all. But your comment at the end is right on. There seems to be more thought and risk with this collection. I like the mattes, which surprises me, and the mustard, which doesn’t. ....Not shady, honest. That’s why I watch.
