The CRH1A-1155 trainset has now been re-allocated to CR Nanchang and no longer runs as D2319.

Pretty faulty comments. D2319 has only been staffed by Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corp. (now CR Guangzhou) since it was opened. I can recognize that from the broadcasting as well. CRH1A-1155, while now belonging to Nanchang Railway Bureau (CR Nanchang), was (formerly) allocated to Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corp, by the time you took the video.

A very enjoyable, relaxing video. I noticed that It always seems to be foggy and overcast in the videos of Chinese train journeys. Is this just coincidence? Or is the weather generally like this?

This railway line from Xiamen to Shenzhen is alongside the beach of Fujian and Guangdong provinces, although the sea is always out of sight beacause the distance between the railway and the beach in most area is tens of kilometers, view is blocked by buildings, farmlands and hills, only occasionally at some bay area, sea can be seen. So near the area of beach, because of quick flow of air, it is always clean and weather is good. That is not part of inland area far away of sea. Foggy and overcast are common sights of the inland area of east and middle parts of China, especially big cities where tourists of other counties always visit, like Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, etc, caused by heavy pollution of large population, industries and constructions. These gives the tourists, who are not familiar with China geography, narrow minded concept of this country. But in fact, China is a big country, thing are always different in different areas. At the area of west part of China, which is far away from ocean, deep inland of Asia, over 40% area of whole China, because of large mountains, glaciers, forests, plateaus, deserts, grasslands, etc, it is not very suitable for people to live, the local population density is relative low. So there are few industries and the air is also always clean. Local natual views are always excellent.

Foggy and overcast is occasional case alongside this railway line, but is common at most places of east and middle part of China at present time. especially foggy of air pollution. Since nearly 20 years ago, China began to develop tremendous industry and construction to improve economy, these affairs did a lot of pollution to the environment and are continually doing more. Chinese government is trying to do something to deal with it at present.

Ron Lai for a normal couch, usually 8-10 miles per USD for bullet train (195mph), for slower train, you got 13-15 miles per USD(130mph), for the slowest train (smoke allowed and 80-90mph), it's around 30miles per USD. The no. of stops is variable, depends if you choose the rapid one or you wanna go to a specific small city.

+kiya kiyarwanda travel time is usually between 3.5 and 4 hours; way too long; CRH should increase speeds to 250km/h and introduce express services with only few stops

buy a first class train ticket; it will be much more comfortable, because in second class - all the people around you will be screaming and eating all the time

i travelled guangzhou to shenzhen and i took first class, they were just seats will little bit more space. is the the shenzhen wenzhou train any different? any entertainment systems or any sleeper?

See if the west didn't stuff around Debating every little thing. We'd have our own HSR network up by now. The west ie USA, Australia eg should be ashamed & embarrassed, off the way they let politics get in the way. There doing more harm to the environment ,then good the longer they debate, everything. When they should just build it like China. Australia being debating HSR's for 30 odd years now, it's a disgrace.
