After generation of electricity water will flow down again in to India and Bangladesh. If less water flows in to the river it is Bangla desh suffers not India. What all the water available India utilises first and then only surpluss flows in to Bangla desh. More over as a result of heavy rains in Assam Arunachal Pradesh catchment area there won't be any scarcity of water in India. Only Bangladesh suffers. The Chinese must know building such big dams can have repercussions and can result in earth quakes. And India sees everything and works in its interest.Hope your analysis results in some consolation to you people.

Najam Sethi Ji, You are presenting wrong facts here. This is pure propaganda. 1. Only 20% of the water volume of Brahmaputra River system is in Tibet. 40% in India and 20% in Bangladesh. So China cannot dominate on this river system like we can. They can release water after their dam is built, but for that we are building our dams downstream also. So we will not be affected. However Bangladesh will definitely get affected by lack of water in summer and flood in rainy and autumn seasons. 2. China's BRI has failed. Look into the world map and you will see China is a far far away far-east country which need the sea to conduct its trade and import its raw materials for its industrial activities. We are stationed on all the choke points - Malacca strait, Sunda strait, Lombok strait; we are also in Brunei, Philippines, Vietnam and many other strategic places that I will not mention here. We have effectively surrounded China and China knows this. That is why China cunningly diverts the attention to the Himalayas for all the strategic conflict localizing all conflicts there, because it does not want conflict on the sea. Tactically that is ok for us also but strategically it will be the sea, and a few choke points in the transhimalayas and the Hotan, Yarkand Kashgar region. 3. The basic principle of Indian foreign policy was, is a mind will be non-allignment because it is the basic principle to achieve our primary goal in foreign policy which is strategic autonomy. Nehruvian non-alignment was dissuasive and hands-off in nature. That was non-alignment 1.0. Now you have Non-alignment 2.0 where we actively engage and pursue our nation interests irrespective of who feels what. That's why we are not ally to any one, we believe in partnership not alliance.
