A Chinese fighter jet flew in front of a US reconnaissance aircraft over the South China Sea in what the Pentagon said was an "unnecessarily aggressive maneuver," according to a statement from the Indo-Pacific Command. This is video provided by the Command. The incident happened on May 26.

As much as you wish that to be the case, there is overwhelming evidence on the contrary. Take for example all of the CCP saber rattling talking at length about how Taiwan will be liberated, despite the fact that Taiwan was never ruled by the CCP and in fact was owned by Japan until they surrendered it as a requirement following World War 2. The KMT took refuge on the island of Formosa, now Taiwan, and since then became what we know as Taiwan. Note that the CCP drove the KMT out of mainland China. China keeps threatening the US through their press releases while the US hasn't mentioned anything remotely as clear as the CCP are when they are expressing their anger at the US presence in international waters or air space. Every country has their own history of brutality but the US doesn't have an event that tops the Tiananmen Square Massacre and we don't see the US hiding their previous grievances to the extent that the CCP does. The threat is clearly the CCP, the Chinese citizens are simply victims of a intense regime of brainwashing and coercion in every facet of life.

The question to ask is was it necessary for the PLA pilot to veer so close then cross the flight path of the US plane in international air space? As much as the CCP has brainwashed you into believing that international air space is CCP territory it isn't. The US aircraft was in international air space. Anybody can fly through International air space provided they don't try to crash into another plane just as the PLA pilot demonstrated by his unprofessional conduct. The CCP didn't take down the US aircraft because it wasn't in CCP air space. Simple as that. If you still believe that the US aircraft was breaching CCP air space are you suggesting that the CCP can't do anything to stop the US from flying into its air space? Maybe you are suggesting that the CCP is powerless to do anything to US aircraft in their airspace? You know you can't suggest any of those things due to your conditioning and the objective truth is that no take down happened because all parties were outside of their respective air space.

Turbulence is caused by a change in "air flow" to put it simply that causes a "bumpy ride" until the "air flow" is smooth again along the flight path. When the PLA fighter displayed incompetence and its powerlessness in the situation over international air space it was compelled to cut off the US aircraft, causing turbulence and making the US aircraft shake.

In April this year alone, China conducted exercises in the South China Sea, and the US spy plane conducted 47 reconnaissance and intelligence gathering operations over the South China Sea in 30 days. The Chinese broadcast a warning to the Americans, but the Americans continued the reconnaissance mission, and on May 27th Chinese J-16 jets drove away the American spy plane, again over the Taiwan Strait. If a thief is lurking in front of your house with a stealing tool, shouldn't the owner go out and check it out and drive it away? Then he cried and reported that he had stolen something, and that the owner had driven it away in the wrong way, provoking it. Is it funny?

Why did 80% of the PLAAF get destroyed in 72 hours in simulations if its so big and powerful huh? The simulations were not biased towards either side, they only used pure facts. Not sure if you've seen how effective the US military is. Read online about Desert Storm 1991, we wiped the 4th most powerful military in the world off the map in less than a month with very little assistance from allies.

@@xinyiquan666 I don't know where you got those numbers from, but the vast majority of those 5200 (which by all actual estimates I can find is really around 2500) are crappy aircraft that only serve to eat up missiles and probably fly like the soviet junk they are. Even the J20 is the second worst excuse for a stealth fighter in modern air combat. And each one of those costs between the price of 30 and 120 AMRAAM ATA missiles of which only a few would even be needed to take out a single fighter at most. So have fun.

You're mistaken, international airspace is not the domain of any nation. The CCP wants you to believe it is their airspace. The CCP knows it isn't their airspace. If the CCP truly believed it was their airspace and territory they are committed to protect, then the CCP would have responded accordingly to a foreign threat such as a US recon aircraft encroaching on their airspace. This fact that the CCP does not have any jurisdiction over that international airspace is demonstrated by the PLA fighter jet simply cutting off the US recon aircraft in a fit of rage.
