Every tour bus have cameras to monitor the drivers & passengers. The police can monitor everyone inside to ensure no rowdy behaviour during travelling. The live feed are important to determine who is at fault during an accident. Without the cams, police will have to figure out if the driver is sleepy/drowsy or the external party is at fault.

The whole of Shenzhen is a wonder. It was a fishing village 35 years ago. Now its a metropolis of 15 million people and a crime rate of almost 0. I lived there, its hot so expect heat and humidity but its an amazing City, superb design in every aspect. The reality is, thats China for you, every City in China is a wonder now really, the whole country is stunning.

When i was making a transfer in Shenzhen a couple of years ago, after the planes took off, I could see the other similar bridge from the sky ( I think that one is from shenzhen to hongkong). The bridge looked like a dragon from the air . It was a truly amazing experience! 🎉🎉🎉 it’s any civil engineer’s dream to really see and experience these remarkable projects !!!

Even with the proposed mainland China-Taiwan tunnel of 120 -150 kms length (Taiwan Strait tunnel project) , expected budget of $55-69 billion (China has spent a whopping $27.5 billion on Hangzhou for the past Asia games alone, its almost to equal of 4-5 ford classes aircraft carrier cost of $13 billions each),peoples from both side can take high speed trains to see each other and connected forever by land ever since, there was even a song in China called “ riding a HST from Beijing-Taipei in 2035 which has become very populous.

This section is testing tomorrow, the other section which was already operational goes to Macau. With the completion and opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, China made yet another powerful statement to the world. I remember reading a news article published in May, 2023 in which some Western experts cast doubt on the bridge's real economic value, described it as another potentially expensive White Elephant, and said that the Chinese government wanted to use the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge as a tool to tighten control on Hong Kong and Macao, both are autonomous Special Administration Regions. There will always be naysaying from some so-called "experts". I think that the bridge will create real economic value. As a proof of its popularity, all 90 spaces on a "first-day" tourist package launched by a Hong Kong -based travel company were snapped up within hours. Great content. Thanks for sharing!

you know, engineers just copy paste these structiures from one prodject to the next one. Some variaty in the soil. sometimes you have to considder earthquake, but then you probably shouldnt build to begin with...
