First thing I did when Mac said the music was getting taken down from storefronts was go try to cop whatever I didn't have yet but was too late. Already bought yin and yang when it dropped, I'll buy it again and hope enough others do it so homie puts the rest up. Love this good music, glad this man opened you up to some new moves. Just saw that BBC article, that's gonna open up a whole bunch of people who wouldn't have seen things on a streaming site too, so this is a moment in time where life can change. Like maybe drop a single track or a couple in a mixtape online once in a while, but for sure the people that rock with you will buy your shit. It might be discouraging to see how many so called supporters will support you but you don't need all those fakes to still be making a good living and take care of yourself and your people.

Luda made a nice little bit off that grind but he could have made more and previously in his early career working with producers and executives I'm sure he did make more. The problem really is years and years ago Napster screwed up the music game and the music industry had to quickly roll with the punches to get back on a profitable side, they never really got their grind back, as sweet as direct to consumer sounds it's difficult it'll always be easier for people to download music, if you as an artist for whatever reason miss an opportunity to sell to your support base some of them would have already moved on to a different sound. For artists it'll always be smarter to sell your music through a company even if it's your brand/company umbrella'd under a bigger company, you gotta have money to make money.

Between all the music platforms I know of, I like using Bandcamp. The culture there is supportive like Shoota is speaking about for alternative and rock rooted communities (ex: punk rock, metal, etc.) and I'd guess it'd be the same for other genres. Listeners can listen to the music you allow for free, buy the MP3 version of songs to download, and buy merch. And as for the musician's side, it seems pretty organized and streamline though I've never personally used it. Independent artists dominate the platform and after finding you China Mac I'd support you by buying a CD, vinyl, or something physical because that's what matters to me; Something I can hold in my hand and cherish. So I don't know consider Bandcamp, but in the meantime please keep going. You're a gem and I don't want you to lose your passion just to survive.
