⏺ Himalayas Mountain Range is the highest mountain range in the world. They extend east-west and form an arc protruding to the south-west. They are about 2,450 kilometers long and 200-300 kilometers wide. The main peak is Mount Everest, with an altitude of 8848.86 meters.
The Himalayas are a huge international mountain system, located in China and neighboring countries such as Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sikkim, and Bhutan. Among them, the Great Himalayas are mostly located at the junction of China and its southern neighbors. Most of the areas are bounded by the main ridge. The southern slope of the Himalayas can be reached in the above-mentioned deep valleys across the mountain system and in the eastern section.
⏺ CHINA NATIONAL HIGHWAY G219
Xinjiang-Tibet Highway, traditionally refers to National Highway 219 (while the central section of National Highway 216 is called the second line of Xinjiang-Tibet Highway), it starts from the zero-kilometer stele in Yecheng County, Kashgar, Xinjiang in the north, and ends in Lazi County, Shigatse, Tibet in the south. The 2,140-kilometer stele in Wuxiang is where the China-Nepal Highway section of National Highway 318 intersects, also known as Yela Highway. You can go to Lhasa instead of going from Urumqi to Lhasa, which is an important route to Tibet.
