Hello everyone, today I’m going to show you an open-air market in Tianshui, Gansu, China. This market is located in the southern part of Tianshui and starts operating at 7 am. It offers a variety of local delicacies such as Tianshui Guagua (a traditional snack made from buckwheat starch, usually eaten with chili sauce, garlic paste, vinegar, and other condiments, with a spicy, soft, and chewy texture), Roujiamo (meat stuffed in a bun), Sui Zi Cake (a thin, golden-brown fried cake filled with perilla seeds and sugar, crispy and sweet), Pig Oil Box (a traditional pastry made with refined flour and fresh pig fat, complex in production, crispy and soft in texture, with a rich and fragrant taste), and Hot and Spicy Soup, among others. As early as 7 am, customers start to arrive at the market, some buying food to take home, and others eating on the spot. The food here is mainly based on wheat products, accompanied by various accessories, making it very appetizing.
