China plans to interfere in 2024 US elections, Blinken says

Secretary of State Antony Blinken says the US has evidence that China intends to 'influence and arguably interfere' in this year's American elections.
Blinken made the comments as he ended a three-day trip to China, where he met with top leaders, including President Xi Jinping. Xi had earlier committed to President Biden that his country would stay out of the US presidential election.
Blinken said any interference in the election by China would be 'totally unacceptable.' He did not detail any intelligence indicating China's plans regarding the US campaigns.
