Chinese culture doesn't cultivate individual thought which is why they copy things rather than come up with their own original ideas. Taking these 2 observations into account, Chinese car makers will always be at least 1 step behind, if not more, because RR have over 100 years of experience in engineering excellence. Take the heater controls for example. RR, like other established car brands, use knobs instead of a touch screen so you can adjust the heating very easily and quickly without taking your eyes off the road, whereas in a Tesla, it's very fiddly and unintuitive to adjust with the touch screen. You simply can't tell the "position" of a control on a touch screen like you can with a real piece of hardware. This is where newer car companies fall down. They don't have decades of tried and tested, reliable technology to draw from - witness Tesla's QC and reliability issues. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with touch screens, they have their place, but they are not always the best device for the job.

Another car also a German premium brand car of 3 year old , the epoxy paint on the steering wheel stripped and leakage of lubricant.
