I am unable to understand why our modi government is still sleeping on this Inspite of knowing the squadron shortage. Simply visiting the border every deepavli and sharing sweets with jawans. F35: due to S-400 wont possible, even US agree, 750+ other countries and US 1000+ orders are pending, so before 2035 not possible, SU-57: Due to war it will delay delivery, KF-21: wait for 2 years koreans will be offerer under MRFA compitition, wont be delivered before 2035(fully developed). MRFA(RAFALE) and AMCA is only way ahead.

@@Ankit-pb8mg Everyone know that but we need Rafale to feel the gap of depleting IAF squadrons(currently 30 sqandron and more will depleting after 2025 mig will be gone, jaguars will start to phase out= at present we need 12squandrons), thats why MRFA (126Rafale+26 Navy=150+Rafale) with production line in India. It's similar to what we did with Su30, we can maintain and upgrade rafale in future.

42 squadrons😂😂 Firstly IAF isn't going to have 42 squadrons by 2038... India today has 36 Rafales 40 tejas and 270 Su30s and others...Only these 3 will last till 2038...Now for new aircrafts , hopefully 83 tejas mk1a, 200 tejas mk2 ...so total no will be around 33 squadrons...By that time China will have 150 squadrons in which 50 squadrons alone will have J20s...God save my country from the govt and Beareucrats...

To compensate squadron strength, need more loitering munitions, kamalasi drones, guided mortar, rockets missiles with high speed and accuracy. Future war based on AI, drones, loitering munitions, better surveillance and quick mobilisation, command and control with quick logistic support, unmanned operations, less human interference etc. Cyber security and monitoring must be expanded with quick command and control. Cyber, drone, space command must be formed with rocket forces. Information and cyber warfare, AI, unmanned combat operation is the future. Many decision making bodies must go and need to club together, make it sleek where defence, civilian bureaucracy, judiciary have less role to play. Many services needed to be outsourced to private sector. DRDO and other agencies must focus in R&D and respective area. Most of unwanted post must be removed make organisation slim and abolish many post to save lots of funds for arms ammunition and soldiers combat power.
