It’s no surprise that China’s economic report fell out side of our expectations. Western "China experts" have never correctly predicted China's economic trends. Why? First, journalists are not hired to provide accurate and unbiased information about China. The way they report has to be politically correct, or else. Furthermore, these journalists or their organizations have a profound financial interest in the content they report. They will happily exaggerate the magnitude of short-term market trends if they are consistent with the positions they hold, and otherwise do the opposite.

The fact that these medias have to be 'politically correct or else..' just goes to show how bullshit freedom of speech in US is. The truth is, people have more freedom to destroy themselves or kill others in US (freedom of sex, drugs, tattoo, shoot, steal, hijack) more than any other countries, but not freedom of speech. Chinese people have more freedom of speech, expression and much better quality of life than US. Chinese people do not need freedom of sex, drugs or becoming a criminal.

economics has two forms, capitalism economy and socialism economy. many analysis on Chinese economy is based on capitalism economy, therefore, people would never get the answer. for example, USA check economy from stock market performance, while China check economy from manufacturing performance. how can peple get answer by evaluating stocks to predict Chinese performance?
