No addicts, low crime, VERY kind people, awesome surroundings, plenty of great food (local fruits are very sweet), everything is super affordable, no tent-citizens, life is relaxed, poverty is being tackled... I visit this place back in 2008 there are many foreign tourist many pub and bar at night I see many Chinese tour group now they have high speed train before it take 4 hr by bus from Changsha.

You take HSR need 30 minutes and than take bus maybe 1 hour to ancient city town. Is it better we take bus from zhangjiajie direct to the town? More comfortabel n more cheap?

My biggest gripe about this town is the name! Furong is Chinese pronunciation of 芙蓉，which is hibiscus. The verbal “translation” completely lost the trait the town should be proud of!
