Harbin Ice-Snow World, a winter wonderland, kicked off its 25th annual snow festival on Monday, drawing a jubilant crowd of 40,000 attendees.
The park, spanning 810,000 square metres and utilising 250,000 cubic metres of ice and snow, features over 1,000 captivating sculptures.
Visitors expressed awe at this year's enhancements.
Known as the 'jewel in the crown of ice and snow,' Harbin Ice-Snow World is the first international festival in Chinese history, captivating global visitors since 1985.
The festival's programme includes a range of winter activities such as skating, winter swimming, skiing, dog sledging, and snowmobiling.
The extensive Harbin Ice Snow World encompasses an ice and snow world, a snow sculpture art expo, an ice lantern art fair, an ice and snow carnival, and an ice bar and restaurant.
Commissioned by the Harbin Municipal Government and sponsored by the Harbin Cultural Tourism Group, the Harbin Ice Snow World has been an annual snow festival attraction since its establishment in 1999, continually drawing millions of enchanted tourists.
