Officials are not controlled by capitalists, and only after annual performance appraisal and selection by all colleagues in the unit can they have the chance to be promoted. As long as you have ability and excellent work, no matter whether you have background or were born poor, you have the chance to become a high-level official of the state. Many of China's top officials were born in poor rural areas. Of course, China's political system cannot explain it to you here. China is neither a capitalist nor a socialist country.

While China every day is making amazing progress, achieving real results for technology, infrastructure, improving the nation building and working hard to improve the standard of living for the people. China next door neighbor "I" on the west border is always busy with their ton of boastful hypes, self-praise on their leadership, chanting superpower, dreaming of replacing China as world manufacturing country. But with not much real achievement, progress and result. Beside they still have the gut and not ashamed to belittle and criticizing China infrastructures are built like tofu. China success must have made them very upset, jealous and frustrating that many of their media channels, no a day we don't see negative news, fake news and propaganda reports bashing and mocking China like a dog barking at the neighbor daily. Tofu construction is good! IT IS HOW YOU MAKE THE TOFU as there are different ways. You see, we know for tofu to be solid and concrete, we have to drain all liquids then pan-fry. They have more engineers than every nation on earth. investment in infrastructure and human capital is not viewed as profit making for wall street. This is a 100 year investment in china. China's populous growth is actually similar to USA's. Its their educational infrastructure that blows us away. They're also a LOT smarter than we are (in fact the Far East is the smartest area in the world). They are also incredibly humble people. If I were 20 years old today I would definitely move to the Far East and renounce my USA citizenship I mean just look around! China is too cold for me though so I would probably seek an area further South such as Nam, Cambodia, Laos. The USA in the past 3 generations has deteriorated at an ever increasing rate and so has its average IQ. Once again just look around. Unfortunately I do not see this degradation improving in future generations. Very sad. The greed here is unprecedented (look at pro sports... choose your poison). We have enough attorneys here in FL to easily fill a football stadium what's that tell you about this place? Yeah these people have written laws that can take everything you own away from you and there's NOTHING you can do about it!

I work in construction management in the DC area. The 16 mile purple line light rail that is reusing old freight train rail, has been planned for 36 years, mired by enviromental study and residents resistance. Finally apporved in 2015 by republican governor Hogan. It will take another 3 years to open in 2027 or 2028..... Just come on!!! 50 years for a light rail conversion? Compare to china building over 4000 miles of rail each year

I'm chinese American now moved to China. I was in NJ before and there was a small 1 mile section of Rd in jersey city near NYC. When I left NJ in 2001, they were working on it, when I came back in 2009 they were still working on it. Finally in 2019 they finished it! 20 f'ing yrs for 1 mile of rd/bridge ?

China also has NEW bridges that have section collapse ALL the time. Oh they didn't show THAT here did they? There will be segments of the bridges shown here that WILL collapse because the team that did the planning failed to do the DETAILED geological studies, environmental impact studies, etc..... It also means some of these project do real environmental harm. In China there are bridge segments that collapse because of RAIN. RAIN. RAIN. You mean these Chinese companies failed to understand the drainage of where they were building? No, no they didn't and that's why they build so fast, but in no other country in the world have construction projects failed so much as in China, mostly stuff built post 1995. A Chinese company did the construction for the Bay Bridge (damaged from earthquakes) in San Francisco. There were multiple failures that had to get fixed, and they didn't use Chinese companies to do the repairs. Gavin Newsom is STILL an idiot though and wants more infrastructure built by Chinese firms. This is the Bay Bridge: July 2000: Interim retrofit of old east span of Bay Bridge. August 2007: Caltrans audit of suspension steel fabricator in China notes welders lack bridge experience. September to November 2009: Caltrans crews discover damaged steel. September 2013: Bay Bridge opened at a cost of $6.5 billion. May 2015: Tests showing signs of saltwater intrusion into the bridge tower’s foundation and damage to its anchor rods. In addition, there were reports that anchor bolts holding the Bay Bridge signature tower to the bay floor failed. January 2016: Big chunk of concrete fell from Bay Bridge tunnel at the Yerba Buena Island. February 2016: Steel reinforcements on Bay Bridge tunnel show signs of corrosion. February 2017: Lights went out on the bridge during the morning commute. August 2017: Questions arise regarding strength of steel supporting the bridge. January 2018: Microbes corroding submerged Bay Bridge welds. And I watched an episode on something like Engineering Falures about having to replace those bolts that failed, and to make it clear there were hundreds of bolts that had to be replaced along a significant span of the bridge.

Because they will, and it's not the vlogger's faults you don't pay attention to the news. Part of the projects shown here aren't finished and Chinese companies WERE the ones building them, but they don't have the money to work at the rate they were before. Next, almost ALL these bridge or rail projects do very little for the country there were built in, so the main thing they're getting is DEBT, a few have already gone into default. There was a rail project that withing a month after being finished, a section of it collapsed, and this is fairly common. In China that's called Tofu-dreg projects. In Malaysia a Chinese company built a huge living area that has ALL KINDS of problems, but the crazy part is the units are too expensive for almost all Malaysians, and really it was going to be Chinese citizens buying the units and then renting them out to Malaysians. Really good for the locals huh? Except like many projects the work stopped so they're sitting there unfinished. Oh THIS propaganda piece didn't talk about all THAT. Since local companies weren't involved in the construction, you didn't even get workers making money which then the govt. could at least make tax revenue from the workers. For the most part the bridge and rail projects were desired by China who's working on their Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) which supposedly is about helping these countries with infrastructure that allows them to grow. No, that's not what most these projects are. They're about developing a ground route for moving products from China to Europe so the main benefactor is China, not the countries. OH this propaganda piece didn't talk about that EITHER? You can just look at the import data from the US to see what's happening inside China. China used to be the no. 1 importer to the US. Now Mexico is. But American and European companies are contracting manufacturing out more and more from Vietnam, India and other SE Asian countries. Chinese companies are TRYING to move there so it's still them making the money, but India isn't allowing that to happen so it's Indian manufacturers that are making the money. However even if it's Chinese companies that moved into Vietnam and a US company is using that to make certain products, the revenue that goes into that manufacturer is making tax revenue for the host country, so if a Chinese company sets up shop in Vietnam, the Vietnamese govt. is making the tax revenue from that company. Yes, India is going to replace China, WITHOUT building useless infrastructure for other countries. At the last G20 the EU, Saudi Arabia, Israel (and this is why Iran wanted Hamas to attack Israel), India and the US made an agreement about a new pathway for good leaving India to go to the EU or US, where container ships leave India, go to Saudi Arabia, unload onto rail, the rail goes to Haifa, gets loaded back onto ships and then good move to EU and US ports from Haifa. This is going to do two things Iran hated, it makes Haifa a global port, and it normalizes relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. It ALSO means that overland route from China to Europe will never get finished because there won't be enough goods leaving China, mostly from Western China where the CCP uses slave labor to make products. Companies are coming under more heat for using manufacturing in China where the people doing the work are slave laborers (in the Muslim West where people get thrown into reeducation units and get the Muslim BEAT out of them). And this overland path to move goods from Western China would have moved goods through Iran, and SHOCKINGLY there's Iranian and Chinese money and weapons getting in the hands of Hamas, the Houthis and Hezbollah to attack Israel to hopefully get the Saudi Arabian citizens too upset with Israel which would make it hard for the Saudi Arabian govt to normalize relations with Israel, both countries which Iran hates. So Iran is going from what they THOUGHT would be the movement of goods through Iran on the way to Europe and Iran would have made money off of it, to seeing their two main enemies normalizing relations which turns Haifa into a global port. Biden is simply brilliant, or I should say the team he has around him are brilliant. They're bankrupting China without having to use the military by convincing different wealthy Asian, European and US govts. and businesses to get their manufacturing out of China. And the numbers show this is happening, and local govts. in China are going bankrupt already, just like real estate companies are going bankrupt there as foreigners moved out and took companies with them. There are some die hard companies that refuse to move out of China, but they face 25% tariffs trying to move their goods into the US.

India need chinese engineers for complex difficult engineering jobs and recently relax visas specially for chinese engineers to go to india to help them . @@johndoh5182 Well, you're right that the BRI is not (primarily) about helping needy countries with their infrastructure but you're wrong about how it's meant to convey goods to Europe. Instead the BRI is meant to bring much needed raw materials into China. The country's 1.4 billion population used to mean nearly free labor but, given the consistent 6-8%/year economic growth rate, in the next 5-10 years this working class will transform into a consumer class--making the influx of ever-weakening dollars and euros unneccessary. For the time being, China, with the help of global warming, is looking to ship goods through the Arctic Ocean above Russia, around Norway, and down into Rotterdam and other European ports, shaving 30 days off their shipping time.

Your video (but use a shorter abridged version of say half an hour) should be shown to all the anti-China nations to enlightened them about the new China. The Chinese people are keen on developing their own country, not engaged in destructive warfare with others...a very important fact to note. Watching from Southafrica, I think China is in 2024, living in the 22nd century; although still calling itself a developing country based on the Nations nations measures of GDP and GDP per capita; indeed, based on the UN measures, using their parity purchase measure , China is already the biggest economy in the world in 2024. Everyone seems sad that the US isn't on the same level so everyone thinks that China is better. It is not. The major difference is population. We don't need this many roads or bridges or trains creating pollution because we don't have as many people. There are literally 4 Chinese people for every 1 US person. Yes that is the ratio. (330 Mil in US vs. 1.4 Bil in China total). This isn't a sign of our failure or a political leadership thing, you guys jump to that way too quickly... relax, it's a sign of China's population growth which they need to get better control of. Just like in the US, China has poverty and is running out of resources quickly so building all this stuff is a necessity. If anything we should be proud that we don't need all of this. Population control is an issue, China's air is polluted because of it. I'll take healthy fresh air any day of the week over a silly bridge.

コメントを見ると、たった２0〜3０年で、凄いスピードで、インフラ整備を行った国の財源は、まだまだ、有るのでしょう。羨ましい限りです。 只、どこの国も、インフラ老朽化と管理維持で苦労しています。 ３０年後のインフラはコンクリート劣化から始まって、自然災害が拍車をかけて、インフラ管理維持に莫大な資金を必要とします。 工事する人の老齢化も進み、中々難しい状況です。 インフラ整備は一気にやると、劣化も一気に始まります。 ３０年後も財源が豊富な国しか出来ません。 まぁ、貯金もしっかりある国なのでしょう。大変羨ましい限りです。
