American Engineers Call It Impossible???? I still remember when China was planning to build the Qinghai-Tibet railway line from the low land of China to Lhasa of Tibet climb over the highest mountain of this world. Many western countries, USA even India and Japan were all laughing and criticizing how could this railway line be possible. All these western countries and India engineers was saying because of the weather on top of the highest mountain the temperature can drop down to minus 40 degrees or more and many other unforeseen problems could occur too. The low temperature could affect the railway metal tracks and it is too dangerous for train to run on it as the tracks could break when the train running on them. But the Chinese was very confident and they went ahead and built. Completed in 2006 and have been operating for the last 17 years and still running today without a single problem.

I saw a Chinese engineer explain the smart and innovative solutions they used to build the railway line you mentioned on Discovery ch. They're brilliant. I foresee more of these mega projects built all over the world by them. Countries which are against China, I suggest cooperate with them. If you can't beat them, join them.

Until I watched a Chinese film of the construction of a huge dam near Beijing, I used to wondered what a "three-man beetle" (a 3-man hammer) would look like? In this film I saw one, being used to consolidate the earth backing this dam.

Western media never shows what China truly is like. I am an ethnic Chinese living in a small country in the South Pacific where I was born and raised, and where the indigenous people are of African descent. I thought that China and Africa were backward countries because of what I saw in old Chinese Kung fu movies and Hollywood movies of Africa. I thought that there were no cars or buses in China or in Africa. I thought the only means of transportation in China were either by horses, carts or caravans. Likewise I thought that the people in Africa only used horses or camels as a means of transportation. It was not until about three years ago when I realised that China and Africa were not backward countries as I originally thought. That was when I first began watching videos of China and Africa on youtube. It was through KZbin that I got to know a lot of things I never knew of.
