@@northguy9274 Tibet is recognized by nobody not even India back then. Learn some history. Nothing illegal about it. Tibet is part of China and their history didn't start in 1950. Tibet declared independence from China in 1912 which means they are a part of it. You don't declare independence from an entity unless you're part of that entity. Simple logic right? Tibet had failed in their war of independence therefore they are not.

Where would the water go? Once the dam is filled up, the water will flow down just like normal. They can regulate it for irrigation and flood mitigation but they cannot make the water to disappear.

Tibet over centuries had independent Mongol & Chinese rulers and the relationship with them was more so of a protectorate . Only in 1949 communist China began to forcibly annex Tibet , 1951 there was a treaty for 2 country Governance and in 1959 China's PLA fully occupied Tibet. Till that point Tibet had its own culture, language, religion and history , all of which China has systematically changed over the decades
