Yeah, because CA is base out of Beijing: They are the capital, plus having the Great Wall, Forbidden City and some other top traditional Chinese tourist destinations, no worries about passengers. MU is base out of Shanghai: the largest city, largest economy, largest population, plus the Bund, the skyscrapers and some other modern Chinese tourist destinations, no worries about passengers. CZ is base out of Canton: could not complete with them regarding politics, economy, population, and our regional history and culture is a bit different/distinct from "stereotypical China." Plus rich overseas Chinese from our province are more willing/able to pay the premium to fly CX via Hong Kong. So CZ must try its best to beat the other 2 with better service and better domestic connections, just to stay afloat. (of the big 3's fleets, CZ have the lowest widebody ratio)
