I must say that this was a different level experience. At 5000mts altitude train runs in thin air with lakes and snow capped mountains at your close sight to view. Namasto lake view gave me goose bumps. Imagine our trains in INDIA are going to run on track in mountains of Uttrakhand and Himalayan range. God imagine while running towards Ladakh and kashmir valley. I know we are late to do that but since we are democratic nation it is obvious we have too many hurdles to get right thing on track.

Please remember, you are just a democratic country in the eyes of the Western model. Democracy is defined as putting the people first, doing everything possible to promote rapid development of the country, improve people's living standards, and make every person prosperous. In the eyes of the West, democracy is about votes. Everything revolves around votes, and everything relies on deceiving the people through words to obtain votes. Without development, people's living standards will never be improved through actions, and everything will only remain in words. Therefore, China's democracy is the true democracy, and Western democracy is a complete lie

As a Chinese, it is difficult for me to understand what Indians call "democracy". Is “democracy” just about votes? Is "democracy" just about multi-party taking turns in power? Since "democracy" is omnipotent, Indians are always proud of being a "democratic" country, but on the other hand, they all use "democracy" as an excuse for their slow development. This is very contradictory, isn't it? If we say that a political party that has been in power for a long time can develop its own country well and take good care of its people so that its people can live a decent life, then are elections really that important? At least for now, the vast majority of Chinese people are satisfied with the current system.

@@jzeng2022 Indians have no vision and idea what China or even ASEAN nations have developed into. I have been investing in China since 1997. Now I invest in Vietnam. I am from India but left it 27 year ago and now a US businessman and investor. My family in India worked for government (Federal) and I know the politics of India better than most. Democracy is complete failure in India. It is such a failure every member of my family has left India for USA, Singapore & UK. BTW, I was a student of Deng Xiaoping in University and my Phd thesis stated how we can adopt a single party system with Xiaoping policies to advance India. Indians called me "communist, facist" and I had enough and left India. Without the policies of DX, there would be no modern China. The greatest leader of the modern world is Deng Xiaoping.

The reason the said that Kailash was closed to Indian soon after the Galvan Valley border clash. Chinese colony in Lhasa started in 1951 and Muslims were there at least by 1th century. 5th Dalai Lama officially gave the land to Muslim traders from Kashmir. These trader married Tibeetan women. They culturally Tibetan as the speak Tibet but only different is their religion. The Muslim quarter is called Gyang da Lingkha. Area as big as an arrow could go. The first recorded Tibetan living in Lhasa was in 7AD when Songsen Gampo shifted his capital to Lhasa,

Indians may not be familiar with the plateau environment. Trees cannot grow in high-altitude cold areas. Locals cannot use trees to build houses. It is generally more cost-effective to build houses with bricks or mud. Tibet is very large, 30% of the size of India. However, the population there is only more than 3 million, because the environment there is indeed unsuitable for human survival, lacking forests and sufficient crops, and most of the area is an uninhabited land. In the Tibetan Plateau, once people lose contact, it means death. Most The area is a wilderness area.
