Mario...question about the commodities angle of the BRICS system. What if a country only has one or two plentiful commodities to make their basket? Example: Florida produces oranges and Virginia produces tobacco. Florida's orange crop is disrupted by hurricanes and Virginia has a bumper crop of tobacco. When the two trade, are the prices fixed for oranges and tobacco? Trying to understand the elasticity/inelasticity of prices of produced goods in a commodities based market under BRICS model. The downside of governments putting their corrupt fingers on the production scale is a serious problem.

So I was asked about the new BRICS currency I will quote what I said. People all over the world create currency. You print it it goes to the development bank. You buy it. The money you get at the development bank is used to fund projects and forgivable infrastructure loans to countries. One dollar. Right? That is what it is worth. And how do you fix a price? Based on BRICS present values regarding the US dollar. Since right now they all trade fairly and have currency values. So when do they date the value? That depends on how badly the IMF has been attacking them. If they back date it to the day they announced a new currency that will predate attacks. So here they need to have a special conference of the main BRICS countries to decide among themselves is it fair now, was it more fair then. That's all they need to do. Freeze currency values of the 159 countries using the BRICS payment system. No more hegemony no more Imperialism. You see with 5 or 6 countries using it they can monitor each other since they each will have development banks in their country selling BRICS dollars. If they print they all print at the same time. You see? No need for gold standard just open reporting and open monitoring.
