There are trains that run at 600 kilometers per hour - almost twice the speed of the bullet trains that currently dominate the high-speed railway scene. What was once a dream is now a reality. But how has this massive leap in speed been achieved? Take a look at this real life magic: Chinese engineer Liang Jianying and her team's attempt to magnetically levitate a 60-tonne train.

Up until then China railway has reached Double the amount of it's current depts, something around two trillion Euros. To remind you: Currently, due to the world crisis we are in, the German state has gained an amount of depts of 2,48 Trillion Euros. Back before the CCP-Virus (Covid) struck Germany managed to reduce the amount of depts to 1,92 Trillion Euros. That is a whole country compared with a chinese railway company.

@@RemakeMoments the train that China has build is identical to the German Transrapid and therefore electromagnetic Suspension system, every and each of it's components are either licensed by Thyssen or Reverse engineered by china and copies of the Shanghai Transrapid's components. Why do I know that? Because I've got certain Connections and I'm interested in those Matters for more than 30 years. Not another d"MB*ss trying to sell me the Chinese accomplished to overcome the German inventors of maglev-technology in doing what physically can't be done and that is combining electromagnetic and electrodynamic suspension. German and Chinese maglev are EMS based (Transrapid & CRRC CF600/200), Japanese L0, MLX01 and it's chinese clone are based on EDS. China has copies of both systems AS mentioned - of the transrapid a bit longer than EDS ( high temperature magnetic levitation is btw the wrong term, since for magnets to become superconductive they need to be cooled down to at least 270°C) - and propagandists try to sell them as a combined own chinese creation whenever they feel the need for it arises. The rest of the world hasn't fallen on its head during the last twenty years, especially not konservative Germans. They know who's trying to betray them.

@@barrytheone6722 KZbin isn't "banned", as tik tok is about to be. They simply refuse to abide by China's data sovereignty rules and therefore can't get a local license. @8964TS
@8964TS Жыл бұрын
@@jayceh KZbin has been blocked since 2009, which was about 12 years before the data sovereignty laws came in, so that wasn't the reason. It got blocked because there were a lot of videos from Tibet on here around the time of the unrest and YT refused to remove them or block them locally, so China eventually blocked it permanently after several short blocks throughout 2008. I remember it well. The day it went down permanently caused me major headaches as I had a presentation planned entirely around a YT video that suddenly I couldn't show anymore. My mistake really as I should have anticipated it after all the previous blockages.
@jayceh
@jayceh Жыл бұрын
@@8964TS yes, Facebook and Google have policies to remove videos as requested by governments, such as Myanmar and Thailand (especially after heavily contributing to genocide in Myanmar) But they refuse this for China for marketing purposes. That's why they can't operate there. Google tried to launch a compliant search engine (Firefly) but their employees hated China so much they refused to work on it. Even though they do the same for Thailand, Vietnam, and so forth as we speak.

Absolute Truth. Real Globalization is when the latest technological advancement in essential public services reach all the cities and towns of the world, not just few nations and few cities. How to make this a realty ? A one World Cooperative governance model to guarantee essential basic services are made available to all of humanity, without the need for money. Its not an impossible task if world citizens decided to unite, to show solidarity for non-profit ONE WORLD COOPERATIVE GOVERNANCE model, under UN. Can we all unite and achieve - only time will tell.

Very impressive! If they can make maglev work commercially then it will be a huge improvement of the already impressive high speed trains. At those speeds you are seriously beginning to compete with planes on all but the longest flights, which is great news for the environment. Especially once we transition to get all electricity from sustainable energy production like nuclear, hydro, wind and solar. I'm not so sure about electric planes as they will be quite limited in range, at least with the current battery technology, but trains don't have this limitation, obviously. Trains running with metal wheels on metal tracks are already the most efficient way to transport anything across land. If Maglev removes even the rolling resistance then it will be even better. Ofcourse, wheeled trains (electric ofcourse) will still be vital for kinds of cargo transport, but for quick passenger routes I can definitely see 600km/h maglev as a game changer. Great work Lian Jianying and all the others working on this. It is an exciting future!
@Newbyte

I think traditional high-speed rail, which I think always will be cheaper to build than this, easily could be a viable alternative to flying in many cases if it just got built in more places. I really don't see maglev solving that problem.
