I just bought a 8503 lcd controller board, the product readily come with free program driver board so it says no need firmware, but when I power on the screen, only white light and nothing happens, do you have any idea why? how do I check if the board really has a software installed in it?

Hello Sir! Please help me in a problem that i have encountered. I bought a v29 board on ebay for 10$. I found a bin file for my resolution online and put it on a usb stick. After i inserted the stick the led started to flash and it kept flashing. After 5 or 6 minutes i unplugged the power supply and now nothing works. I cannot reflash it with other bin file. I tried another bin file and the led does not flash. It doesn't want to reprogram. Please help me with my problem. Thank you!

I think you brick your main board.need to flash your 8 pin eeprom Ic.Never power cut when you update processes is running your tv board.if you that your tv board brick.

una consulta, en el datasheet de la controladora V56 veo que dice Single/dual LVDS. Pero he visto una controladora LCD mas reciente el modelo mnt68676.2a donde tambien dice que es single/dual LVDS pero este agrega un dato extra que dice (8Bits). Mi consulta es: es lo mismo ? pues en la controladora V56 no menciona ese detalle.

a query, in the datasheet of the V56 controller I see that it says Single / dual LVDS. But I have seen a more recent LCD controller model mnt68676.2a where it also says it is single / dual LVDS but this adds an extra data that says (8Bits). My query is: is it the same? because in the V56 controller does not mention that detail.

David saldaña if your screen has 2 lvds input ,you should use a converter card one in & 2 out lvds .but all screen are not supported. Old v56 card are not able to do it.new card are different...see the data sheet in online.

Thanks this is a very helpful video. Does this Universal Motherboard connect into the TCON board on a Sony Bravia KD55X8005C? The TCON Board connects to two boards on the LCD screen so the universal motherboard can not connect directly to the LCD screen.

Zazzo E Zozzo ,you got brick your flash memory.if you re firmware your 8 pin flash ic it will ok.for this process little bit tricky.you need to desolder the 8 pin memory ic & brun firmware with right chipset.you need to firmware Brunner also.
