That's because it's physics. All TBMs are round because they have to be since they rotate. Somebody actually said China copied TBMs and made it oval shaped, clearly impossible unless the TBM is drilling through butter and needs to operate 10 times slower.

Let us not forget German TBM companies copied the TBM from the Americans. The Americans copied from the British. The British started it, just as they started the Industrial Revolution.
