One of the main reason korea acted that way is because of their corporate media. The media produce propaganda news against the enemy of the US empire and many times also just for the views. China is the enemy of the US empire and that is why there is non stop propaganda against it even though China has no territorial dispute with South Korea. As for other races, the South korea media actively shows how poor and how animal like the living condition of poor nations. People like to see things that is worse than them and it make them feel good and superior. This is why you see south korea the way it is now. Contrast this with China with gov controlled media whose objective is to inform audience and not entertain them. This why Chinese gov media is too info heavy and boring to watch. They also tend to washout negativity and portray many things in more optimistic and politically correct, which makes it even more boring. Many younger gen now get their news from alternative media in China which is corporate controlled. This is where the convergence might occur. In douyin for example, India is portrayed as dirty and the dirty video gets alot of clicks and views. Many of the more extreme view point which are previously censored by the gov media is slipping though in douyin and many Chinese people is starting to see more negativity around the world. It makes them feel more nationalistic but at the same time more aware of other's in a bad way. It is still not as bad as korean or western media but the trend is heading there if the gov does not control it. There must be a balance of truth vs censorship and I hope the gov and the corporate media finds it.

That Chinese village is really touristy place and very well maintained. I have always dreamed of such villages. Seems like they exist in China. And the cafes only add to the charm of that village.

This place which he visited is one of the usual places that's not touristy, otherwise you'll see lots of domestic tourists. The touristy part is in the central part of Lijiang. It's very touristy but also very beautiful, with the jade dragon snow mountain as the backdrop.

Safty is top notch in China. You can't feel this much safe in India or USA or UK. I have visited almost 7-8 nations like USA, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia etc but only I could find this much safety in Singapore and Australia.
