It's weird to see how Croatian managers have been far more successful in Asia than in Europe, even when Croatian national team is among the best now. Really liking this Oguro guy, but have to question putting 5 defenders and sacrificing the midfield to bolster defence. It's like inviting a tsunami to break down your defensive wall. Nevertheless, the heart on show by the SG players is marked improvements from the last decade (or should I say 'lost decades'?'). China played really efficiently, and their quality shined through at the end.
