These Chinese women can probably handle many male volleyball teams from around the world. They wouldn't win in a men's tournament because of the size and strength disadvantage that they have vs the men but they are very capable to get a few wins and definitely wouldn't get in last place or no wins. They are the most talented team men or women that I have ever seen in this sport.

Congratulations to China for winning this big game and for being step closer to winning the World Cup! 🏆 I would like to commend Team China for playing finesse volleyball. It's not only about Zhu Ting, she can definitely deliver and lead her team by example but each player in their line-up plays a great role in each of their victories. The passing, setting, floor and net defense all are working great. They communicate very well on and off court during timeouts. Hat's off to Lang Ping for building a very strong and capable team who are mostly on their early 20's. 🙌

Thank Paola Egonu (Italy) for that improvement. Egonu would hit 100 kmph spike and serve. It took China some time to defend against Egonu spikes and serves. The China B team actually play better against Italy than China A team. I think 2 of China B team players were promoted to China A team. So when U.S. Team hit those 90 kmph spikes, they won't be that hard to defend against, because they can defend against Egonu 100 kmph spikes

Ung japan solid ung program nila, hirap manalo dyan since defense kalaban mo dyan, ung usa nga na force nilang i 5 set, sa china lang talaga sila hirap makakuha ng sets sa ngayon. Ung u21 nga nila tinalo ung seniors nila, kahit mga bata pa. Suguro matatalo natin ung japan, kung may 3 tayong santiago na scoring machine as in consistent, tsaka maganda na ang programa natin. Pero as of now, wala dahil dyan sa politica dyan sa lvpi.

China was firing on all cylinders! Zhu T was dominant, Zhang CN was reliable and the rest of the team remained solid. Lang Ping did not even need to use any substitutions at all. Wong-Orantes should be the starting libero for the US. She stabilized service reception and defense much better than Courtney in my opinion.

@Andrew Li , it was Italy that help China improve their defense. Paola Egonu (Italy) can hit 100 kmph spikes and serves (the fastest in women's volleyball). It took some time for China to block those 100 kmph spikes at the net and receive 100 kmph serves. The China A team was the opposite, they were able to block 100 kmph spike at the net, but cannot handle the 100 kmph spikes in the backcourt. The China A play about even with Italy(with Egonu), but surprisingly, the China B team play much better against Italy (with Egonu). I think 2 of the China B team members were promoted to the A team. The B team lost to the U.S., but they were able to beat Turkey and Italy.
