Just adding information, every station might could have different layout. Changsha station for example, waiting room and restaurant is located at same floor.
@ChinaDIYTravel7 жыл бұрын
Right. As we say in the text, there is a good difference between those in big cities and smaller towns for example.

2:44 but the mens room often have a very strong smoke smell
@如是我闻-h3z4 жыл бұрын
Daniel Li Daniel Li I'm sorry about that. Chinese men love smoking very much. Smoking is not allowed on high-speed trains and stations, so most of them smoke in the station's toilets.

Some old stations still have these older pink tickets.

The rigorous security and ticket control gives a certain "state paranoia" vibe, like without it the country would go into social and political chaos or worse, freedom of speech and thought.
@ChinaDIYTravel7 жыл бұрын
Security is rather loose actually.
@PravahanSalunke7 жыл бұрын
I am sure the setup for high speed trains is still less rigorous than that for air travel
@jpdemontigny7 жыл бұрын
Strange logic. Actually security is a joke at train stations. Security at airports in the US is so much more strict. Any link with freedoms in the US? Just showing that your logic is flawed besides being factually incorrect.
@hailyu7917 жыл бұрын
wow,with that logic no strange u got bombs in boston and london's metro trains
@auntclechris5 жыл бұрын
Meanwhile in Germany, you don't even have to pass through a gate or through security to get to the high speed train. The Chinese procedures seem kind of unnecessary and seem to just add additional stress from our viewpoint.
@auntclechris5 жыл бұрын
@Kin FR L How is it a dumb comment? Also what is the point of your comment?
@hong31705 жыл бұрын
I understand your point. But You have to understand the Chinese volume and also people are not as well manner as in Germany. I used to travel the whole Germany by railway. It was great by interrail. No reservation needed. I can run to catch a train even just have 2 minutes left. If in China the railway stations open the platforms to everybody, there will be many accidents like the one just happened in Germany last month. Someone will be pushed into the track.
@goldenn10865 жыл бұрын
check what happened at Kunming rail station several years ago. passengers got killed by terrorists and since then security check is strictly required. it's very necessary
why there is terrorism in Japan? Are the criminals also muslin?

I notice that u mentioned history education in China and Korea is different with Japan. I'm curious that what's the main difference between them and what's ur view of history in Japan. I'm ABC myself, and from what I learned in US they seems to have their right to hate u for the time before and during wwII.
